Amertime did 1:30:42 (pb)
Andy Veall did 1:36:08
Suz Newton did 1:45:24

Sharon Ditchburn did 2:55:46

TT2A as it turns out, is a team of runners…

The runners of the team delivered a pretty impressive performance in the Dubai Marathon on 20th January 2013, and it’s not just a fluke, at the end of the day it all comes down to following the plan, hard work and belief in the Coach- and there’s a few in the team who can vouch for that… in particular the ‘runner’ Piers Constable who produced a 10-min PB over the distance with an amazing 2:48:30, he was being hounded by Robbie over the last 1km who also delivered a 10-min PB with an equally awesome 2:49.03. To put this into context- they

ran 42km at an average pace of 4min/km! We know from Coach Dirt how hard it is to hold or even crack the 4-min/km pace over 5km. Absolutely astounding performances. Anders (3:19:47), James (3:19:58) and Andy V (3:29:52) put a great show on too, all producing PB’s… with Sam (3:47:17) and Amer (3:49:26) both pushing themselves through mental and physical barriers- let’s say we had an Epic Amertime in marathon debut 🙂 It’s a crying shame Ben Walton and Chris Sellar were not fit on race day as they both showed exceptional form in training leading up to the marathon- both were on for PB’s (both currently holding PB’s around the sub-2:49:00 mark)… so to have them out on the course would of been awe inspiring! Next time lads 🙂 On a final note, and worth a mention… if the guys had registered as ‘TeamT2A’ this team would of scored No.1 in the team comp (without 2 of the guns Sellar and Walton). Not bad for a little triathlon team really 🙂
