Kona Update: Go Marshie!!!!!!!!

It’s been a fabulous night with some awesome performances from the Pro’s – Jacobs taking the men’s crown with Raelert putting himself in the hurt locker to take second place (again).

Unfortunately TT2A favorite was off form today and finished 11th… I can only think he’s saving himself for racing the team next month at the Ghantoot Sprint 🙂 We have a new Queen of Kona, representing GBR Leanda ‘Bird’ Cave. Awesome run, Xena showed courage, lead off the bike and hung in there for second place holding off Rinni 🙂 Brilliant racing. So inspiring. Our man Simon Marshall is out there on the run and is going strong on a hot, hot, windy day – is there any other in Kona? Simon has been running well in the heat in training and Coach has been holding him back, saving him for this, his A Race. He swam 1:20:47 which is a little off the mark by Marshalls standards, but biked near on target with a 5:35. So he’s on the run and running well in true Marshie style 🙂 Keep going Marshall… the chatroom has been up all night, Dubai is waking up now waiting for you to cross that finish line!! Remember Marshall – keep on believin’ 🙂
